Republic Day
Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India. In our colony, the flag hoisting is done in Silpa Square every year.
International Yoga Day
International Day of Yoga, or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day, is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in the United Nations General Assembly. This event is celebrated in our colony with a Yoga session in the clubhouse.
Independence Day
Independence Day is annually celebrated on 15 August, as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom. We celebrate Independence Day in the colony with the flag hoisting at Silpa Square each year.
Summer Carnival
Summer Carnival is held in Summer when the kids have their summer holidays. Typically, we have food and game stalls. The food stalls are a hit with mouth watering items that attract one and all.
Silpathon
This is the annual 5K run in the colony that started in year 2017. Online Registration for the event begins a month in advance The run starts at 6:30AM in the morning with children, youth, adults and seniors participating in the event.
Women's Day
Women's day is celebrated in the colony exclusively by women. The ladies get together to have fun by singing, dancing and playing games.
Graduation Day
Graduation Day is held in the clubhouse – kids who graduated 10th, 12th, Engg/Med/Other streams are recognized on this day.
Vanabhojanam
Vanabhojanam is held in a farm every year during Karthika month. Typically, a bus is arranged to take the residents to the venue. Lunch, Games and Snacks are part of the event.
Sports Day
Sports Day is conducted in the colony prior to Republic Day. Running Race, One leg Hop, Slow Cycling and other events are usually conducted in the Silpa Stadium. Prizes are distributed to the kids on Republic Day.
